Enrollment Specialist

A local healthcare company in Portland, ME is looking to bring on a Temporary Enrollment Specialist! 

Duties include: 

Enrolls eligible members in the transaction system within standard timeframes to ensure timely access to care benefits.

Manages verification, application, outreach, and account activities, including discounts and penalties.

Processes and responds to enrollment activities and interdepartmental communications accurately and effectively.

Maintains and audits document scanning and information in the document management system for accuracy.

Communicates enrollment changes, eligibility status, and account updates with members via written or phone outreach.

Mentors team members on the enrollment process and serves as a learning resource.

Collaborates with Sales and Member Engagement teams to ensure accurate enrollment processes.

Supports Enrollment leadership in creating and updating departmental policies, procedures, and workflows.

Represents the department in interdepartmental workgroups on enrollment functions.

Seeks efficiency improvements through new technology and process enhancements.

Audits member eligibility and payment data to ensure system accuracy.

Pay: Between $19-24 an hour depending on experience 
Location: Portland, ME 
Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM
